Epson launches that it has, to our knowledge rightly, as the first multifunction photo printer A3.
Epson announced yesterday Expression Photo XP-950, the new flagship of its fleet of multifunction printers . Behind its conventional photo printer appearances, the familiar proportions, this new model presents the particularity to print in A3 format.
Six cartridges in a multifunction A3
We all know the A3 photo printer, scanner lacking. There are also inkjet multifunction A3, in particular Brother. But until now there was no multifunction A3 specifically turned to the photo. The Epson XP-950 is the first to use six ink cartridges, Claria Photo HD range in this case, with which it promises more subtle tonal nuances and richer colors with patterns mainly for office use.
What occasionally pull some big draws at home without having to invest in a cumbersome and redundant dedicated printer. It has also two paper trays to easily switch from one format to another, without leaving his position.
The new high-end also inherits the features of the XP-850 it supplants, particularly in connectivity. With Wi-Fi and a 3.5-inch touch screen (8.8 cm), it can print directly from a tablet or phone (via Google Cloud Print in particular), or the reverse scan directly to an online service.
The multifunction photo printer A3 Epson Expression Photo XP-950 will be available in France in September for the tidy sum of 350 euros. Note that for this price, some may prefer to separately purchase a multifunction A4 and a dedicated A3.
